IJS PLANNING

NISA will shortly publish a list of officials for Open competitions for both RJS and IJS events. This will be made available to Clubs and Test Organisers and updates can be obtained on request from the NISA office when updated on a monthly basis.

A further document will be published, advising of the minimum specification required for the formation of panels for both RJS and IJS events.

Detailed guidance regarding minimum requirements possible for setting up an IJS event are currently being produced. This will hopefully give interested Clubs/Rinks a true understanding of the costs involved, equipment and time required and allow them to make an informed choice as to which system they wish to use for their event. This will be formalised after the Hull IJS Open event in early July 2010 when further information will be available.

Clubs who have already had paperwork accepted and approved for events in July and August will not be required to submit new paperwork for their event unless changes have been made.

Further information regarding permits will be available shortly and skaters, Coaches and Club Officials are asked to check the NISA website on a regular basis.
